Abstract :
The economic crisis which broke out in 2008 by the mortgage loan of USA and affected whole world in a short time is also seriously influenced Turkey. The most important cost of the crisis that began at the financial sector and skipped to the real economy is economic shrinkage and high level unemployment. Tourism sector is also affected by this crisis. At this study the impacts of the 2008 global crisis to Turkey’s tourism sector are determined and policy suggestions which facilitate to solve the crisis of tourism sector are stated.
