Abstract :
This study has been made to show the differences in detail between the summation and multiplication methods which are the two methods that are used for the calculation of Risk Priority Number in the Failure Mode Effects Analysis. In this study, the results that have been reached from the application of the Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) conducted by Gamateks Textile Industry and Trade Inc., have been used to explain advantages and disadvantages of the methods of Risk Priority Number calculation and the differences between these methods.
