Reading through the Dynamics of National and Local Politics in the Case of Erkan Mumcu
Abstract :
This study deals with a political career in the concept of interaction between national and local politics including the controversial era from the second half of 1990s till the first decade of 2000s. The political career of Erkan Mumcu, deputy of Isparta Province, pursues a wavy conjuncture in this era. This conjuncture echoes not only on the national but also on local level of the politics. Moreover, these have sometimes similar and sometimes become different effects on the national and local axes. Analyzed through these axes, the political career of Mumcu reveals a useful approach for the understanding of national and local dynamics of the politics.
