Abstract :
The main aim of this study is to evaluate the benchmarking in non-governmental organizations in terms of managers and members’ perspectives/perceptions under the scope of managerial processes, acquisition and method factors. The survey form prepared on this subject has been applied over 157 individuals (109 managers and 48 members/volunteers) in 93 NGOs betweeen September 2011-June 2013 in Izmir. The results of the study revealed that each factor is significant at an advanced level. Besides, the managers, in comparison with the members/volunteers, have more positive opinions in terms of managerial processes, when the members/volunteers, have more positive opinions for acquisition and method factors. As a result, a positive correlation at a moderate level between managerial processes and acquisition factors is found in terms of the general, the managers and the members/volunteers.
