Abstract :
Inadequacy of worker training with respect to the new technologies come up with ındustrialisation,timeless implementation of necessary legal arrangements ,socio cultural environment and socio cultural developments cause to increase in occupational health and safety problems.These problems arised as work accident and occupational illness can turn in to indiviualistic , organisational and social losses in the course of events. The initial texts accepted in labor law literature were concerning occupational health and safety.In this study; occupational health and safety notion , historical development period of occupational health and safety, rights and responsilities of labor and employer in Turkish labour legislation in terms of occupational health and safety will be analysed.
