مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIL AVIATION AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO GLOBALIZATION: THE SAMPLE OF TURKEY

Abstract :

The local paradigms lose its efficiency in today‟s modern world where the global values which are accepted by the world‟s general and which becomes the common asset.The global economic, political, social and cultural relations make the whole world small and familiar, and the events taking place in other locations of the world commences to shape the local dynamics as well. In this context, rather than the local dynamics shape the global values, the global values, it can be argued that we live in a period when the global values direct the local paradigms. In the aftermath of the internalization of the economic and commercial processes in parallel to the market need as a result of the industrialization and then the development concerning information and communication technologies accelarates the globalization. As the imporovements in the transportation with the power of steam that is used in the ships contributes to the first occurrence of the globalization, the developments in the civil aviation sector will enhance the countries‟ integration to the globalization. In the study, the effects of the developments in line with the globalization will be analyzed on the basis of civil aviation in Turkey.
