Abstract :
Globalization is a concept of spreading. Globalization is the spreading of theoritical or practical things, demands, habits or almost everything which is about human‟s daily values all over the world. With the transformation of modern social system into a political system via states and markets, power relations have had also a change and new nations and life styles have emerged. Technological, economic, political and socio-cultural developments which have emerged in the second half of the twentieth century have led to significant changes in the habits, life styles and needs of societies. Global economy, along with the liberalization of trade and finance which are as the fundamental basis of economy, has also led to increase in national(local) organizations which follow a motion in parallel to this development. A historical overview of the concept of globalization has been also evaluated in the study. Then, the domain of globalization: society in global transformation, economic and political dimensions of globalization, new globalism transformed by the influence of communication, has been examined from the perspective of glabal individual and multiculturalism. The purpose of the study is to reveal the new globalization which has been accelerated with the development of communication affects all countries in the world by gaining economic, social, political and cultural dimensions.
