Abstract :
It is tried to find out in this paper that the ecological structure of İstanbul based on official resources. It is also underlined the erguvan tree and its flowers which became the symbol of İstanbul. Agriculture has been never important for İstanbul Except some dispensation periods, administrative, commercial, political and cultural while it has always been the capital city. People of İstanbul always meet their agricultural needs from outside. For these peole priority is trees and flowers like erguvan, tulip which highlight the visualtity. Today, many projects are conducting in order to perpetuate these important symbols. These are also our main historical responsibilities and also important for our economic and cultural life.
