EFFECTS OF USING TRAİNİNG MATERİAL ON VOCATİONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS’ COGNİTİVE AND AFFECTİVE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Abstract :
In this study, effects of The Math Curriculum on Vocational School students’ cognitive and affective development process was examined. This research has been planned as an emprical study and as an amprical model the “Pre and Post Test with Control Group” has been used. In the study which has been conducted with the university freshman students in order to determine students cognitive development process, “Cognitive Knowledge Test” that is developed by the researcher with 20 questions and to examinate affective charasteristic feature, “Attitude Scale” with 25 questions has been employed. The data obtained via research were analysed by SPSS 19 packet programme and as a result of the statistical analyses differences has been found in favour of the sample group so hypothesis of study has been proved. The curriculum which has been applied on sample group has been determined significantly more effective on students’ cognitive and affective charasteristics than traditional techniques.
