Abstract :
Tourism, which is one of the today’s important sectors in economies of countries, may have some impacts upon general structure of economy. The relations between tourism income and economic growth in Turkey as one of the developing countries have been under discussion. This study tries to examine relations among some variable as econometrical for the 1980-2013 through utilizing some time series methods. The results showed that there was causality from economic growth to tourism income in terms of Granger. Furthermore, it has been found that there are empirical proofs that tourism incomes impact positively growth.
