Abstract
A new tax advantage style called State Contribution for Individual Retirement Plans was started to be implemented as of January 2013. This paper studies the contribution shares paid by state for tax applications. According to the paper, a growth of about 33 % was recorded as of the end of 2013 with the incentive of state contributions. Growth continued and the number of the contributors exceeded 5 million people with 23 % increase as of the end of 2014. According to the last data obtained, the number of contributors increased to 6.234.118.- people as of 15th April 2016. It can be said that the aim of state contribution tax incentive has been achieved.
