Abstract :
Hearths is one of the basic elements of the climate of the Alevi-Bektashi faith. Quarries around faith leaders Dede’s through engaging the people together one hundred years despite all the difficulties were able to maintain their identity. This belief is one of the leaders, Kececi Baba, and Khorasan Dervishes, had come to Anatolia in XIII. Century and Erbaa township village, known by his name, established hearth. The real name of Ahi Mahmud Veli, Kececi Baba, also a leader of Ahi, Ahi Baba is referred to by name. His strategy Kececi Baba hearth, where the tomb of Kececi Baba and with the foundation continued existence until today. Kececi Baba hearth, located in the village of Kececi of the town of Tokat Erbaa, the area accredit the center of a lively faith. Connected here, where else, such as stoves, Tokat, Amasya, Sivas, Çorum, Samsun ve Ordu region many villages Kececi Baba hearth is aspire villages. Throughout the history of this quarry Fedâî Baba, Sûzî, Derûnî Baba, Arifoğlu, Nihânî, Kurban Ali, Mesrûri, Kasım Pehlivan, Ligarî and Sükûti brought up many mystic and a poet. İn this study, Kececi Baba’s life and which was established by the hearth, is discussed on the course of history.
