مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - A RESEARCH ON TRACES OF FOLK OF BELIEFS IN SOCIAL LIFE OF FOLK BELIEVERS AMONG THE YORUKS-TURKMENS: THE CASE OF YORUK VILLAGE

Abstract :

The purpose of this research is to give an overview about traces of beliefs of folks in social lifein Bektashi believers among the Yoruks-Turkmens. In this study, observation, interviewing, and document analysis methods were used within the framework of qualitative research. The research was carried out with a working group consisting of 6 participants selected from the inhabitants of the Yoruks village by purposive sampling. The data obtained from the interviewing and observation forms were analyzed through content analysis in the qualitative research. According to the results, Bektashi believers among the Yoruks-Turkmens gave important clues traces of religious belief in social life and pointed out the decisive religious factors that shape social life. In particular, the formation of applications related to birth, death, and wedding put forward opinions that reflect the influence of religious approach. The participants, not losing the essence of the culture of Bektashi believers among the Yoruks-Turkmens, pointed out the need for the organization of activities that strengthen social solidarity.
