A Proposed Model for Production Planning in Construction Sector: Lineear Programming Application

This study deals with the problem of short term production planning in a bussines (company) which produces prefabricated construction items. In order to understand the problem better, firstly the business (company), its products and production process are introduced. Secondly according to these qualities of the bussines (company), a linear programing model, which takes the limits and ends of the bussines (company), is developed. A fifteen days production planing charts of division of prefabricated construction items department is prepared by applying the model with multiple ends and integer variables to Lindo 6.01. Finally the results of the model have been compared with the charts which are prepared intuitively by the relavant unit of the bussiness.
