An Application of Fuzzy Goal Programming to a Specific Diet Problem

Linear programming is a useful technique used for solving optimization problems. It helps us for finding the most appropriate solution of objective function to maximize or minimize according to both variables and constraints. In this study, we consider the problem of how to prepare a weekly sample menu for a young person who is in a intense business that requires physical activity and has income that was determined at the border of the hunger by Türk-Is . The solution of the model gives a list of foods that balance the budget and food preference while satisfying the daily dietary requirements.
