  • Abstract
    The paper attempts to identify an overlooked mistake in the literature mainly appears in Turkish textbooks. By means of physics, radial acceleration and gravitational pull experienced by a vehicle negotiating a horizontal curve are scrutinised, and a number of alterations to the formulation are recommended. Besides, a change is proposed to the meaning of (the existing Turkish word) ‘sademe’.
