Comparison of Some Image Analysis Methods for Determination of Muck pile Fragmentation
Abstract :
Huge amount quantities rock masses are blasted globally. Enormous costs are occurred every time at blast operations. Better blast operations just a little bit can provide big profits. Better blast operations can be determined successful estimation of muck pile fragmentation. In this study, muck piles fragmentation is determined by using standard photo method and Split – Desktop software programme. For test, 25 blasting rounds were carried out and fragmentations were determined by using both two methods. Obtained data were analyzed by statically. It is shown that the results of both two methods were close to each other and reliable.
