Comparison of Type-One Errors and Powers of Some Goodness of Fit Tests for Exponentiality

The goodness of fit of a statistical model tests how well it fits a set of observations. In this study, some goodness of fit tests called Kolmogorov- Smirnov, Anderson- Darling, based on different entropy estimates tests Ebrahimi(1991) , Choi (2004), Correa (1995), Noughabi(2010) ) and Fortiana(2002) and also the tests given by Fortiana(2002) are investigated. Also,these test statistics are compared according to their type 1-error rates and powers under different distribution types.
