Title Of Article :
Design and Implementation of Differential Isolated ECG
Abstract :
Many instruments and equipments are used for diagnostic and treatment in hospitals and the field of medicine which develops. Isolation is a necessary system which provides the care between patient and machine in biomedical equipments. In all systems, to guard patient against the all kinds of the dangers, which can be occurred from the mains must be the most important subject. In thisstudy, an ECG circuit is designed to detect heart beats from the body and isolation is made by an optical isolator. Main principle of optical isolation is to cut the electrical connection between the parts where the patient is connected to device and the display tools which runs on very high voltage that causes danger for the patient. In this application, in order to minimize the risk of electrical shock of patient, a differential isolation is provided by transferring the ECG signals in the circuit part where the monitoring device will be plugged in to by the help of an optic isolator. This application has been performed by considering th eimportance of the human life and sensitivity of patient.
