Abstract :
With each passing day, the use of plastics in the life of human beings with a further increase of the field, the plastics gligibly small. In this study, PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and PC (Poindustry has evolved to the present day. Because of increased demand and competition, plastics technology continues to evolve rapidly. Work on the plastic technology to further grow while maintaining its position in the industry in our country are continuing. In these studies reinforced plastics, heat, temperature, pressure such variables has been working on. But studies on the choice of mold steels are nelycarbonate) polymers was injected into plastic injection molds which is made of AISI 420F stainless plastic mold tool steel, AISI P20 plastic mold tool steel, AISI H11 hot work tool steel and AISI 1040 carbon steel. Hardness, density, tensile strength and the percentage of inorganic fillers experiments were performed for the products obtained. The results obtained were interpreted by comparing and the selection of the most suitable mold steel was decided. Shore A hardness values of Flexible PVC samples, was measured as 80 for AISI Ç1040 carbon steel, 68 for others. In all the density values 1.183 g/cm^3 was measured. The results of tensile stress was observed as 7.873 on AISI Ç1040 carbon steel, 7.615 on AISI P20 plastic tool steel, 7.702 on AISI H11 hot work tool steel, and 8.167 N / mm^2 on AISI 420F stainless plastic tool steel. Shore D hardness values of PC samples, was measured as 80 for AISI Ç1040 carbon steel, 81.3 on AISI P20 plastic tool steel. 83,3 on AISI H11 hot work tool steel, and 82,6/ mm^2 on AISI 420F stainless plastic tool steel. Density values was measured as 1,197 on AISI Ç1040 carbon steel, 1,199 on AISI P20 plastic tool steel, 1,198 on AISI H11 hot work tool steel and AISI 420F stainless plastic tool steel. The results of tensile stress was observed as 63,962 on AISI Ç1040 carbon steel, 62,217 on AISI P20 plastic tool steel, 62,217on AISI H11 hot work tool steel, and 55,132 N / mm^2 on AISI 420F stainless plastic tool steel.
