A New Hybrid Two-Group Classification Model Based on the Data Envelopment Analysis Model
Abstract :
In this study, a new classification model can be used the two-group classification problem is developed. This approach is mixed of the Pendharkar and Troutt (2014) model bases on the Data Envelopment Analysis BCC model and the two-stage classification model proposed by Sueyoshi (2004). The aim of this study is handled the two-group classification problem with the help of piecewise linear efficiency frontier in the BCC model and two-stage detailed examination idea. The proposed new approach is detailed examined on an example taken by Pendharkar and Troutt (2014). Also, it is observed that the classification performance of proposed method is better than the other two methods from the simulation study.
