Abstract :
MVS‐Murata Vortex Spinning System, which is one of the spinning methods based on false‐twisting, has been called as an innovation in spinning field and its future looks bright. In present study, it was analysed the effect of fibre type, fibre blends and yarn fineness on vortex yarn quality and investigated the changes in yarn properties. In the study, it was used Ne 20/1, Ne 30/1, Ne 40/1 and Ne 50/1 polyester, cotton‐polyester and viscose vortex yarns. Additionally, polyester, cotton‐polyester (%30/70 and %50/50), viscose, polyester‐viscose (%65/35), modal and cotton‐modal (%50/50) blended vortex yarns was analysed. The yarn properties were compared with the findings in literature.
