    The Insect and Mite Species on Cut Flowers in Greenhouses of Antalya

  • Abstract
    In the present study conducted between 2014‐2015 years in Antalyaand its districts determined 64 species in Insecta and one species Arachnidaclasses on 13 different cut flowers species in 28 greenhouses. The 16 specieseconomically harmful, and 5 species as key pests were found. These species areTetranychus urticae Koch, Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande, Bemisia tabaciGennadius, Helicoverpa armigera Hübner and Spodoptera littoralis Boisduval. T.urticae and F. occidentalis determined in cut flowers greenhouses in all distinctswhere this study conducted. Also, F. occidentalis, H. armigera, T. urticae, B. tabaci,and S. littoralis determined on the species of cut flowers totally 9, 7, 3, 2 and 2, respectively.
