  • Abstract
The study aims at determining life satisfaction levels of undergraduate students in terms of receiving fine arts training. The sample of the study consists of 559 students studying at Erzincan University in 2011-2012 academic years, and 107 students who study at the division of Music Education at the department of Fine Arts Education in the faculty of Education at the university. The data of the study were collected via a personal information form that is prepared by the researchers, and a life satisfaction scale. As a result of the research, a meaningful difference was identified among the students who received fine arts training and those who did not. It is found that the life satisfaction levels of students who received fine arts training are higher than those who did not. In terms of gender difference, female students have higher levels of life satisfaction than males. As a sub problem, it is also determined that year of study at university does not have any influence on life satisfaction
