Abstract :
In this research, America State of Oklahoma -Stillwater, Oklahoma State University, Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History and Painting Studio Courses education in this institute are examined. Purpose of the study; to examine Oklahoma State University which is a rooted and an international public university’s restructuring, development history and the current state of Painting Studio education, to provide new gains to the art education in Turkey. During the study, in Oklahoma State University, Department of Art, observations were made related to painting studio physical environment and interact in studio, interviews were made with painting studio Ass. Prof. and students, other people and groups of the university. In research as formally and generally, structuring art education of this institution, undergraduate levels (years), entry to the department of art, assessments, diplomas process had been given. As content, Oklahoma State University, Department of Art, Main Art Field, two-dimensional studio option, and Studio Art (Painting I, II, and Advanced Painting) content of courses, the main focus issues, objectives and course units heads had been examined
