Abstract :
In this work map and directional literary examined in programs of primary school life science teaching. The study was designed and carried out in the scan model. The data in the study were collected through a document review. Primary school life education curricula have been reshaped according to the social needs of the age with new understanding and approaches in education. The vital need for map and directional literacy has remained constant in modified programs. In the study, it was determined that objectives, explanations, topics and tools related to map and directional literacy were included in life education curricula.
