Abstract
In recent years, modern dentistry has focused on reducing caries risk, preventive procedures, and non-invasive conservative techniques where tooth structure is preserved as possible. Without doubt, the use of pit and fissure sealants is well-known as one of the major preventive measures regarding this fact. The aim of this review is to update the existing information about the utilization of fissure sealants and examine the methods of implementation in the light of earlier studies.
