Abstract :
Stafne’s bone cavity (SBC) was first described by Stafne in 1942 and that is mostly seen in males between 5th and 7th decades of life. SBC is generally asymptomatic radiolucent image and usually found incidentally during routine radiographic examinations. This cavity is located under the mandibular canal, between the first molar and the angle of the mandible. It appears as a round or ovoid well–circumscribed radiolucency. The appearance of SBC is usually pathognomonic, and no treatment is required. The aim of this paper is to represent two cases of SBC diagnosed with computerized tomography.
