PSAMMOMATOID OSSIFYING FIBROMA LOCALIZED ON THE MANDIBLE: CASE REPORT
Abstract :
Psammomatoid ossifying fibroma is a benign, fibro-osseous lesion. The most frequent location is the sinonasal area, however, rarely it could be localized in the maxilla, mandible and cranium. In this case report, a well-circumscribed uniloculer radiolucency present at the mandibular molar region seen on the panoramic radiograph diagnosed as a psammomatoid ossifying fibroma according to histopathologic investigation in a 39 year old female is being reported.
