Abstract :
The segmental epidural anesthesia which is performed by low dose local anesthetic applied to mid-thoracic region has been conducted successfully in upper abdominal surgery. In our report, we discussed our experience of segmental epidural anesthesia for a patient who had acute cholecystitis and severe lung disease in the context of the literature.
