RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE INTENTION OF NEW VENTURE OF THE ENTREPRENEURS AND THE RISK PERCEPTION

The main objective of this thesis is to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurship intention and risk perception. In this context, the concepts of entrepreneurship, the intention of entrepreneurship, risk and risk perception were explained in the first part. In the application section of this study, a face-to-face survey was applied to 289 entrepreneurs in Erzurum. Hypotheseses were developed after giving the literature review about the relationship between risk perception and entreprenurship intention. Developed hypotheses were analysed by using appropriate statistical methods. As a result; it was observed that general risk perception, social risk perception, economic risk perception and career risk perception have effects on the intention of entrepreneurship.
