A RESEARCH ON HOW FRACTIONAL PRICING POLICY OF BUSINESSES IS PERCEIVED BY CONSUMERS
Abstract :
In this study, the aim is to reveal how fractional pricing policy of businesses is perceived by consumers and what consumers think about fractional pricing. In the study, first pricing policies and evaluations on pricing policy are covered, and then, an application is presented to further elaborate on how fractional pricing policy is perceived by consumers. With this aim, the study is conducted via a questionnaire based on primary data. In the research, ran-dom sampling method is followed and 300 questionnaires on shopping are handed to consumers to conduct the research. 200 questionnaires in total are found appropriate for the study, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Q-Q Normal Distribution graphics, Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis tests are performed. The participants of the question-naire declare their negative opinions and they call government to make restrictive legal regulations against the issue.
