Akarçay Northern Sub-Basin Groundwater Modeling

This study comprises the Bolvadin, Çay, Çobanlar, İşçehisar, İhasniye, Bolvadin-Eber lake boundaries and northern regions of Akarçay basin that is in Afyonkarahisar and partialy in the east of Konya. The model study had been actualize that with finite difference method and steady state flow assumption in 2002 years well logs, well coordinates, the aquifer boundary, topographical elevations, stream bed, hydraulic parameter data. In study the groundwater budget can be calculated. The water levels distance from ground surface is modeled numerically and visually with cross sectioning the basin. The results are expected to be helpful for ground water budget studies on the basin.
