Outside Automation of a Fabricate With SCADA System
Abstract :
In this study, a Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) press outside supply line automation was done by using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. All system components can be monitored and controlled in a PC monitor via SCADA software. The MDF outside press are working in full automation with the proposed PLC based SCADA application. In the automation system, Siemens Simatic Manager Step-7 V5.4 is used as PLC software, S7-400 CPU 416–2DP is used as PLC, Siemens Simatic Wincc V7.0 is used as SCADA software, and ET200 M remote I/O is used. In this system, motor currents, line flow pressures, hydraulic oil pressures, hydraulic oil tank temperatures, motor bearing temperatures and hopper levels can be monitored continuously. When possible faults occur in the system, either the system automatically stopped or operator alarm lamps warns the personal.
