Abstract :
This study was conducted after the identification of learning profiles of 10 primary school students in their 2nd and 3rd grades who have learning disability in 2016-2017 academic year with the support of 18 volunteer students who continue their education at Special Education Department. In order to find out the learning needs of the primary school students, teachers’ opinions were referred to and teachers were asked to complete Learning Disabilities Screening Measure and as for the determination of educational needs Specific Learning Disability Battery and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-R) were used. By applying these assessment tools before and after the intervention, the effects of teaching program which lasted about 20 weeks were tried to be determined. According to the results of the Learning Disorder Symptom Screening Scale which was filled by the teachers, there was a significant difference in 17 assessments in the field in general and in 8 sub-categories in terms of skills level after the implementation of the teaching program to support the executive functioning skills of the students who had learning disability profiles.
