Abstract :
In this study, morphological and anatomical properties of Scilla siberica Haw. subsp. armena (Grossh.) Mordak were investigated. The specimen was collected from Erzurum provincial, Narman district, North East Anatolia, within A8 of the grid system. The cross-sections of root, scape and leaf parts of the plant were examined and demonstrated by photographs. Paraffin methods have used for anatomical studies. Most of the anatomical properties such as three-sided thickenings on the walls of the endodermal cells of root, presence of xylem strands are 4-5 in number on the periphery of the vascular cylinder and lack of differentation palisade and sponge parenchyma was found to be similar to the other members of Liliaceae family.
