Title Of Article :
The Effect Of Water / Cement Ratio And Type Of Admixtures On Strength Of The Hıgh Strength Self-Compacting Concrete
Abstract :
In this study the High Strength, Self-Compacting Concrete w/c ratio, limestone powder, silica fume, the type of admixture and their effects are investigated. In the production of the High Strength, Self- Compacting Concrete the maximum aggregate size was selected as 16 mm also the mixtures that were used for the slump-flow testing were 40% and 36.5% w/c ratio respectively. For these mixtures the amount of Glenium C300 was changed from 1.37% to 2.67%. In addition, mineral admixtures of silica fume and limestone powder was added to the 12 mixture series that were produced. On the produced mixtures slump-flow, V-funnel flow time, L-box highness and L20 cm-L40 cm times, J-ring test method, and compressive strength tests at 14 and 28 days test methods were administered and completed.Of the mixtures that were achieved contained silica fume with admixture that produced a positive effect on the compressive properties of the high strength, self-compacting concrete.
