Abstract
In this study, the effect of particle size and distrubution of porcelain insulator slurry on the properties of semi-finished product was investigated and results were represented acording to the industrial conditions. Fort this reason, 1,2,3,4,5 on the sieve residue values to be about 45 μm as a industrial slurry were prepared. The Particle size and distribution of the slurry, liter weight, number of plasticity, plasticity water, dry strength, transverse and longitudinal shrinkage properties was tested under industrial conditions . It is observed that the small particle size led to increase the coefficient of plasticity and dry strength values were close to each other.
