Abstract
Geographic Information Systems (GIS ) technology is used as the main base for the town of Cerkezkoy in this study, the potential of the soil and water resources , by using numerical and soil maps and field studies on the use of this kind of spatial analysis of GIS technology are introduced and how an active role in planning for the forward projection going to play a to determine . Within the limits of the town of Tekirdag of Cerkezkoy distribution of land resources, water resources, the distribution of the current situation and identified the GIS environment . As a result, in terms of water resources and their total length of 14 active creek arms where determined to be 57,658 km . Entering the boundaries of the district in terms of the distribution of the slope and land use are often 2% in terms of II. class in the class of agricultural land as a result of the analyzes were made .
