Abstract :
İn this study, matrix material polyamide 6 (PA6), high density polyethylene as an additive materials (HDPE), maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene with as compatibilizer (PE-g-MA) and nanoclay (NC) was used as montmorillonite. Ten different compositions were produced material. Effect of the compatibilizer and nanoclay in the material properties of composites prepared were investigated. The produced composite microstructure (TEM), tensile, bending and hardness tests were applied. As a result of the experiments, the tensile strength of PA6 / HDPE / PE -g- MA ( 80/20/5 ) with the addition of 5% nanoclay increased for about 15%. 1% nanoclay addition reduced the overall tensile strength by 13.3%. Elasticity modulus of PA 6/YYPE/PE-g-MA(80/20/5) composite increased 77% with the addition of 5% compatibilizer. Elasticity modulus, in general, increased 13%, 38.6% and 63% with the nanoclay additions of 1%, 3% and 5%, respectively
