Abstract :
The carob tree is a scrub plant that grows naturally in the field of research. The parts of the plant is used for various purposes such as food, fodder, paint production and in the treatments of animal and human diseases by the local people. The consumption of keçiboynuz syrup a product of carob beans, is a popular strategy to treat human diseases in the area. The local people produce their own keçiboynuz syrup themselves rather than buy it from the market. In this research, we have investigated the traditional production and utilization of natural keçiboynuz syrup to treat human diseases by the locals.
