Investigation of the Optical Properties of SbSI Crystalline in the Paraelectric and the Ferroelectric Phase

Abstract
Under density functional theory with SIESTA software of the SbSI crystal optical properties wareinvestigated. SbSI crystalline in paraelectric and ferroelectric phases, the generalized gradientapproximation (GGA) using the pseudo‐potential method. Some optical coefficients in the both phases ware calculated. The optical constants such as refractive index, reflection, and absorption coefficient are derived from the computed real and imaginary parts of the dielectric function. The calculated values were compared with available experimental and theoretical results.
