Title Of Article :
Reliability Evaluation of k out of n System used in the Engineering Applications
Abstract :
Theoretically, one of the most important indicators in the evaluation of the technical system’s operating performance is the average uptime. This indicator can be calculated in different ways according to the vvariety of the mutual connections of the components. The systems formed from a combination of parallel and series components in industry, have become more complicated with the development of technology. In such systems, theoretically k‐out‐of‐n technical systems are designed in order to define the connection mechanism of the system. k‐out‐of‐n system models have been proposed for system reliability evaluation and the design of integrated circuits, microwave relay stations in telecommunications, oil pipeline systems, vacuum systems in accelerators and spacecraft relay stations. Such systems are characterized by logical or physical connections among components in lines or circles. In this study, it has been aimed to calculate the operation performance of the consecutive k‐out‐of‐ n: F system at certain time intervals. The performance of a technical system can be shown a decrease due to external factors during operating time. Therefore, calculating of mean uptime of the system under stress is very important for the consideration of the external factors affecting the efficiency of the system. In our study, taking into consideration the risk of operating under stress of the components, the operation probability of the system is calculated at certain time intervals in order to perform this purpose.
