Abstract :
ZnO films which belong to transparent conducting oxide (TCO) family are materials taking attention with their unique properties in solar cell technologies. Deposition of these materials on suitable substrates by an economic technique affects the production costs and efficiency of devices. In this study, as an alternative to commonly used microscope slides, ZnO films have been deposited on the borate glass structures containing different amounts of PbO by ultrasonic chemical spray pyrolysis (UCPS) technique. The effect of substrate structures on the structural, electrical and optical properties of ZnO films has been investigated. As a result of all this research; it was observed that a change in the crystal structure with the increase of the amount of Pb at substrate glass structures. Electrical resistivity values of the films produced on substrates containing PbO is higher as compared to PbO-free glasses. High transmittance in the visible region belongs to the glass that contains 5% of PbO. The addition of PbO the substrate increased the values of the refractive index.
