Linear Buckling Analysis of Functionally Graded Material
Abstract :
This study presents an axially compressed linear buckling analysis of functionally graded material(FGM). It is assumed that the material properties of FGM vary continuously through the widthaccordingly power‐law function. Finite element simulations of FGM using the ANSYS software havebeen studied. The effects of grading‐loading direction and power‐law exponent were analyzed.
