Sakine Eruz, who has provided us a diachronic and syncronic view in her previous book, Çeviriden Çeviribilime (From Translation to Translation Studies) 2003, about academic translation instruction and translation activity by discussing the contemporary translation theories through translation history is continuing to broaden our conception by her new book TRANSLATION DIDACTICS FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES, Translation Oriented Text Analysis. This latest book by Eruz reflects her deep insight on translation studies and her dynamic approach to translatorial issues.
