Abstract :
In “Çeviriden Çeviribilime” (From Translation to Translation Studies), which is published by Multilingual in 2003, Sakine Eruz discusses the history of translation and translation studies today. In this respect, she covers a great array of topics, ranging from translation history to translation education and from translation theory to sources and organizations about translation studies. The book consists of three chapters: Translation-Translator-Translation Studies, Academic Translation Education in Turkey and in the World, Sources and Activities About Translation Studies respectively.
