This book is used as a text book or a reference book in the Translation Studies departments of certain universities3while being regarded as a notable resource for the translation studies field in Turkey. In 2008 it was been awarded as the Best Copyright Work by Turkish Academy of Sciences within the framework of TUBA4 University Textbooks Award Scheme held for the first time in 2008.The book has a rich theoretical content consisting of the basic concepts and theories in Translation Studies.
