Abstract :
The crystal structure of dichloro zinc Bis (benzimidazol-2-yl) methane has been determined. The complex is monoclinic, P2_1/n, with a = 8,794 (2) A°, b = 11,509(2) A°, c=15,615(3) A°and β= 105, 51 (3) deg.The metal is tetra-coordinated forming with the ligands a slightly distorted tetrahedron. The water molecules were not found in the crystal lattice.
