Abstract :
One equivalent of diethylisopropyleamine was added to a suspension of one equivalent of glycine methylester hydrochloride in anhydrous DMF. The mixture was stirred under nitrogen for 5 minutes and a solution of two equivalents of (3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)methanol in anhydrous DMF was added dropwise. The reaction was allowed to stir from four days under nitrogen atmosphere at room temperature. The mixture was dissolved in water and the compound was extracted by diethyl ether. The organic layers was washed with saturated brine solution, dried, filtered and concentrated to yield the oils which gives mono crystal. The structure was confirmed by X-ray crystal with monoclinic P21/c group, having good π-π interactions.
